Getting to Mull
The main route to the island is via the ferry from Oban to Craignure. The sailing takes around 45 minutes. From Craignure it is then approximately 35 minutes drive to Tobermory.
Buses run frequently from Craignure to Tobermory and the timetable generally runs in conjunction with the ferry timetable.
Additional ferries to Mull run from Lochaline (on the Ardnamurchan peninsula) to Fishnish and from Kilchoan (on the Morvern Peninsula) to Tobermory.
All primary ferry services to the island are operated by Caledonian MacBrayne.
Loch Lomond Seaplanes run a direct service from central Glasgow to Tobermory; approximate journey time 31mins.
