People visit Mull for many reasons. For some it's simply a great place to come and unwind and do very little. Others come to explore the outstanding scenery or to catch a glimpse of some of the most diverse wildlife to be found anywhere in the world.
Throughout the season, Mull offers a wide variety of outdoor activities including wildlife safaris, whale and dolphin watching trips, walking, cycling and yachting. There is also an active cultural life of festivals, arts and crafts, music and theatre, and of course, a good measure of traditional highland hospitality.
Tobermory, the island's capital, with it's brightly coloured houses and distinctive shops, is considered by many to be one of the prettiest towns in the Hebrides. The island also provides an ideal base to explore the neighbouring islands of Iona, Ulva, Staffa and the Treshnish Isles.
An excellent resource to explore what the island has to offer can be found at www.undiscoveredscotland.com
